Practical Info

A CORUÑA, GALICIA, SPAIN
A Coruña is a lively and active city, with 252,000 inhabitants, located in Galicia, the northwestern region in Spain.
Two languages are official and deeply spoken in Galicia, Spanish and Galician (Romance language closely connected with Portuguese).

Inhabited since pre-Roman times, today A Coruña has the urban center on a T-shaped peninsula and it’s only connected to land by a very narrow isthmus. Each side of that isthmus constitutes a maritime facade: one to the open sea, the Atlantic Ocean (beaches of Riazor and Orzán) and another to the port (glass galleries).
